Ingredients
1 lb. Rosa Penne Rigate #65
1 can Rosa 28 oz. San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes
3 tsp. Rosa Minced Garlic
3 tbsp. Butter
3/4 cup Rosa Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 cup Sliced Prosciutto
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 cup Vodka
1/4 cup Chopped Onions
1/2 tsp. Rosa Basil
1/2 tsp. Rosa Fine Black Pepper
1/4 tsp. Luna Fine Sea Salt |
Directions
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. In a large skillet on medium heat,
sauté the onions and garlic in butter until golden brown. Stir in the prosciutto and cook for 2 minutes. Crush the tomatoes by hand and add. Stir in the spices and simmer for
5 minutes. Add the cream while stirring for 2 minutes. Add vodka and cook until there
is no strong vodka scent present (usually 4 minutes). Add the cooked pasta and grated
cheese. Stir until completed coated. Serve immediately.
